Project Description
1st day (METEORA – Kalambaka)
Arrival at Kalambaka city where METEORA is. We will make the check in to our hotel and we have free time for dinner and walking the picturesque city.
Overnight stay in Kalambaka
2nd day (Meteora – Corfu island)
After breakfast we shall visit the most important monasteries of the area that are built on a remote location on top of high rocks, with a height of 300 – 600 m above sea level. After our visit in the monasteries we will have lunch we will continue our trip to Igoumenitsa’s port to take the ferry for the island of CORFU.
Overnight in CORFU island
3rd day (Corfu island – Patras )
Today we will explore the amazing island of Corfu with its unique architecture and of course we will visit the chirch of Sf. Spiridon. Early in the evening we take our bus with direction to PATRAS city the 3rd larger city of Greece where we will visit the church of St. Anrdeas
Overnight Psathopyrgos (8km from Patras)
4th day (Patras -Athens – Eghina)
Early in the morning we will start our trip with direction to the capital of Greece – Athens. After a short city tour in the capital we will go to Pireus port in order to take the ferry for Eghina island where the monastery of Sf. Nectarios is.
Overnight in Eghina
5th day (Eghina island – Evia island – Paralia)
After visiting the monastery of Sf. Nectarios we take the ferry back to Pireus and our bus with direction to the island of Evia where we will visit the monastery of St. John the Russian. Late in the evening we arrive in Paralia where will accommodate.
Overnight in Paralia.
6th day(Paralia – Mount Athos – Souroti monastery – Paralia)
One more day we will wake up early since we have to reach Ouranoupolis where we will take the cruise boat to make the round of Holy Mountain Athos. We will finish the cruise early evening and from there we will go to the monastery of Souroti where elder Paisios is buried.
Overnight in Paralia
7th day(Paralia – Salonic – Romania)
After breakfast we will visit the city of Salonic where we will go to Sf. Dimitrios church, Sf. Sofia and many other Byzantine churches. Free time for lunch and shopping and after we leave back Greece full of pleasant memories
