Arrival in Thessaloniki and independent transfer to the hotel. Check-in to your reserved rooms and meeting with our tour guide/driver. Dinner featuring typical dishes from Thessaloniki's cuisine, recognised as Intangible Cultural Heritage. Overnight stay.
06/12/2025 THESSALONIKI - POZAR THERMAL BATHS
The day is dedicated to discovering the treasures of Thessaloniki, Greece's second largest city in terms of size and population, a multicultural and lively city, young and at the same time rich in history. During the panoramic tour of the city centre, we see the Rotunda (or Mausoleum) of Galerius, the remains of Galerius' palace and his triumphal arch (Kamara). We will see the White Tower, symbol of the city, and visit the Cathedral of Saint Demetrius and the Church of Saint Sophia with its beautiful mosaics. We will then immerse ourselves in the oriental atmosphere of the Kapani Market and stroll through the elegant shops of the New Modiano Market. In the afternoon, departure for Aridaia, at the foot of Mount Kaimaktsalan. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Depending on the booking times, transfer to the Pozar Thermal Baths to enjoy the beneficial warmth of the waters that have been flowing from the earth at a temperature of 37 degrees since the dawn of time.
After the spa treatment, return to the hotel. Dinner booked featuring typical winter dishes from Greek Macedonia.

07/12/2025: POZAR BATHS - VERGINA ROYAL TOMBS MUSEUM - NAOUSA - THESSALONIKI
Wake up and breakfast at the hotel.
Departure for Vergina, ancient Aigai, the first capital of the Kingdom of Macedonia.
Visit to the Museum of the Royal Tombs, which houses the fabulous funeral equipment of Philip II, the father of Alexander the Great. At the end of the visit, transfer to Naousa, in the heart of the PDO wine production area of the same name, famous for its full-bodied, high-quality red wines . Wine tasting and visit to the winery. Lunch at participants' expense and transfer to Thessaloniki. Hotel accommodation, dinner in restaurant in Ladadika district and overnight stay.
