DAY 1 ATHENS - CHALCIS
Arrival at Athens airport and transfer to Chalcis. Opportunity to visit the Chalcis Museum for an initial taste of local history and culture.

DAY 2 CHALCIS - AULIS - THEBES - CABIRIUM - TANAGRA - CHALCIS
We depart from Chalcis, crossing the Euripus Strait (Periagesi 9, 19.6) and visit the remains of the Temple of Artemis at Aulis (9, 19.6). We then transfer to Thebes, the city of the seven gates (9, 8 - 9, 23), to visit the rich Archaeological Museum and archaeological area. We explore the site of Cabirium, the most important temple of the Cabiri on mainland Greece (9, 25.5). On the way back to Chalcis, we stop at the archaeological site of ancient Tanagra, located at the border between Boeotia and Attica (9, 20.3).

DAY 3 CHALCIS - PLATAEA - LEUCTRA - LIVADOSTRA - ALYKI - THISBE - CHALCIS
The day is dedicated to the slopes of Cithaeron and the Boeotian coast on the Gulf of Corinth. We visit the ruins of Plataea (9, 2.5), the site of the famous battle of 479 BC, and make a stop at the Epaminondas Trophy at Leuctra. We continue with the visit of the Acropolis of ancient Creusis in Livadostra (9, 32.1). At Alyki (Tifa 9, 32.4), we see the ruins of the Hellenistic acropolis on the bay which, according to myth, saw the landing of the Argo returning from Colchis. We conclude with a visit to the ruins of Thisbe (9, 32.2) before returning to Chalcis.

DAY 4 CHALCIS - VALLEY OF THE MUSES - ASCRA - HALIASTRUS - LIVADIA
We leave Chalcis to reach the foothills of Helicon and visit the famous Valley of the Muses with the remains of the sanctuary (9, 30.1) and the Acropolis of Ascra (9, 29.1). On the way to Livadia, we ascend the acropolis of Haliartus (9, 32.5). In Livadia, before overnighting, we visit the Temple of Trophonius (9, 39.3) and the Temple of Zeus Basileus (9, 39.4).

DAY 5 LIVADIA - ORCHOMENOS - CHAERONEA - IETTO - GLA - ATHENS
We depart from Livadia and visit the acropolis of Orchomenos (9, 38.1). We move on to Chaeronea to visit the Museum and the famous funerary monument for the Theban fallen of the Battle of Chaeronea (9, 40.10). On the way to Athens, we visit what remains of Ietto (Pavlos 9, 24.3) and the Mycenaean acropolis of Gla. Arrival in Athens and overnight stay.
