Your own idyllic Aegean! Spend four days in a dream cruising the sparkling Eastern Mediterranean during this impeccable four-day cruise. We’ll take you to some of the region’s true undiscovered gems.
We depart from Lavrion and return to Piraeus, the two major ports of Athens. 60 kilometers from Athens, Lavrion is a short distance from the Temple of Poseidon, with its incredible view of the Saronic Gulf, and Cape Sounion. The bustling port of Piraeus, where you’ll disembark, is a brief Metro or taxi ride from Athens, one of the world’s great cities. Athens is dense with ancient monuments, chic cafes and unique shops. Wander through Plaka to the Acropolis and the New Acropolis Museum, one of the world’s best.
Our first stop is Syros, the Cycladic Princess. The port of Ermoupoli is the capital of the Cyclades and a UNESCO World Heritage site. You’ll want to tour the Vaporia district to see the mansions built by the island’s bankers, merchants and ship owners in days gone by. We’ll show you the island’s neoclassical side and give you a real taste of its cosmopolitan culture and local color. Expect the warmest of welcomes
We depart in the evening for hospitable Cesme, one of the most popular resorts on the Turkish coast. The sugar-sand beaches of Cesme will dazzle you, as will its myriad Ottoman fountains. Don’t miss Cesme Castle, built in the 1500s and home to the Archeological Museum. From Cesme we’ll take you to the ancient city of Ephesus, one of the seven cities of Roman Asia andan archeological marvel, one of the best-preserved ancient sites in the Mediterranean, and to the exclusive seaside resort of Alacati and to Izmir, Turkey’s third-largest metropolis. We leave beautiful Cesme to spend the evening in Bodrum, which has been described asthe St. Tropez of Turkey, thanks to its pristine beaches and stellar nightlife.
The region’s medieval marvels continue in Kos, the island of Hippocrates, as we sail past the 14th century fortress at the entrance to its harbor. Just outside lively Kos Town liesAsklepion, a curative center and temple to Asklepios which dates to the 2nd century BC.Enjoy an afternoon at Bravo Beach or in Zia, one of the island’s most beautiful mountain villages. We can also take you to Nisyros, a tiny volcanic island off the coast.
From Kos we travel to tiny Ios, home to the pre-historic settlement of Skarkos and 365 churches – you’ll find many of them on the sunny hillsides of Hora. Relax at beautiful Manganari Beach on the south coast, or join us for the trek north to the Tomb of Homer. The loveliness of Ios will stay with you long after we depart.

Our final stop is Santorini. Its cliffs rise from the blue waters of the Aegean like a dream. Take a jeep safari into the interior or a cruise to Santorini’s smaller islands and volcanoes, visit the Akrotiri Village excavations, stroll through the beautiful hilltop village of Fira, the island’s iconic capital, or just sit in a café in spectacular Oia Village and watch the sunset from 300 meters above the azure sea. This unique Cycladic island will leave you breathless. From Santorini we sail overnight, arriving in Athens in the early morning.
Remember, the only way to salve the pain of disembarking is to promise yourself you’lljoin us again for more unbelievable jaw-dropping destinations and incredible experiences. We want you to spend a great many more “once-in-a-lifetime” days with us.
