Project Description
1st day:
After we entering Greece we move with direction to Thessaloniki. Sightseeing tour: Byzantine walls, White tower, castle, St. Dimitrios church. Free time in the city at the Oriental bazaar. Overnight in Olympus Riviera.
2nd day:
Early in the morning we start from Olympus Riviera for our daily cruise to the picturesque island of SKIATHOS. Overnight in Olympus.
3rd day:
Excursion to the legendary mountain of the ancient Greek Gods, Olympus. First we visit the sacred place of Zeus, Dion – archaeological site, then we travel to Litochoro, one of the unique villages in Mt. Olympus to take a walk along Enipeas river. Visit at Platamonas castle. Arrival at the hotel in the afternoon, overnight in Kalambaka – Meteora.
4th day:
Visit Meteora monasteries and we continue the trip to Delphi. Overnight in Delphi
5th day:
Visiting the archaeological site and the museum in Delphi and our journey leads to Olympia. Overnight in Olympia.
6th day:
We will visit the archaeological site where the 1st Olympic games took place and after the museum. We continue our trip to visit in the evening the unique city of Nafplio which was the 1st official capital of Greece. Overnight in TOLO (seaside)
7th day:
Another exciting day starts. Today we are going to make the cruise to 3 – islands (Poros – Hydra – Aegina) while on the cruise boat we will have the chance to dance with and attnd live folklore show. Meal on Board is included. Overnight in TOLO.
8th day:
We leave back Tolo and we will visit Mycene and the archaeological site, lion-gate, the treasure house of Atreus. Continuing we shall visit the ancient theater of Epidauros and the archaeological site there. After Epidavros we travel across the canal of Korinthos to the archaeological site of ancient Korinthos with direction the capital of Greece – Athens. Overnight in Athens
9th day:
Sightseeing tour in Athens: Pireus port, Acropolis, Olympion, Parliement visit to Archaeological Museum. In the afternoon free time in the old city and after Athens by night. Dinner at local taverna including live music and show. Overnight in Athens.
10th day:
Before to leave the city of Athens we have to visit the Brand New Acropolis museum. Then travel across Thermopile and overnight in Olympur Riviera
11th day:
We leave back Greece full of pleasant memories!!!
